AUSTRALIA – Department of Health (Nov 2019) National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Strategic Action Plan 2018–2028. Australian Government. This plan aims to reduce the incidence and impact of FASD in Australia. This will improve the quality of life for people living with FASD. The Plan identifies 4 national priorities and is for the period 2018 to 2028.
ALBERTA CANADA The FASD 10-Year Strategic Plan provides an overview of the scope and impact of FASD on individuals and families in Alberta. It identifies a vision, mission statement, guiding principles and a broad framework for the coordination, planning and delivery of FASD services across Alberta in the areas of: awareness and prevention; assessment and diagnosis; sypports for individuals and caregivers; research and evaluation; strategic planning; training and education; & stakeholder engagement.
The document provides a definition for each area, and identifies target groups, desired outcomes, and gaps in services and supports.
In addition, the future strategies associated with each area are highlighted and strategy leads are identified for implementing the FASD 10-Year Strategic Plan.
