‘Hey Teacher’ is a NZ based resource, designed to be used by families of children with a FASD diagnosis to help open up the very necessary communication channels between child, family and teacher.  It is written from the child’s perspective, in an attempt to place the child at the centre of this relationship.  I would suggest it is something you give to each new teacher of your child. Although it is primary based, I think it would be useful in a secondary environment as well as the needs of the child remain the same.  I trust you will find it a helpful resource.  Tracey Jongens  (parent and teacher).
