This workshop provides information about Fetal Alcohol and other neurobehavioral conditions (FA/NB), and the effects of alcohol and other drugs on behaviors of children, adolescents and adults. FA/NB are brain-based conditions with behavioral symptoms. The workshop will provide current research and a framework to support application of a brain-based approach. The goal is to increase understanding, reduce frustration, expand options and enhance collaboration across systems. Case examples of successful outcomes following identification and accommodations are central to this training.
