First of all let me thank you for creating such great SW and sharing with everyone.Now, I've downloaded the free Gateway151 Karaoke zip player v 2.2, running on Windows Vista Home premium V6.0. I have downloaded the CD+G disk plugin V1.4 as well as the MP3+G plugin V1.4The problem is when I double click the Karaoke zip file in the player nothing happens ....however if I open the zip file and drag and drop the mp3 file only into the Gateway151 Karaoke zip player it works beautifully.I can hear the mp3 file playing and I can see the lyrics of the CDG file.Why does it work when i click on the mp3 file but not if I click on the zip file ?What am I doing wrong ?Nov 20, 2007#22007-11-20T03:55+00:00Thank you Ricardo! You're using Vista -- and if you have the User Account Settings turned on, the zip files won't play.You can check out the post for Shutting off the UAS.I have updated Debs Pro Karaoke Player to run on Vista without having to make any modification to the User Settings; however I have not had a chance to do the same for the Gateway151 Karaoke Zip Player. I do intend on doing this shortly.In the meantime, I suggest reading the Post for shutting of the User Account Settings which will allow the program to play your zip files.If you need further help, let me know. Thanks,-DebsNov 26, 2007#32007-11-26T20:20+00:00Hi Deb, I did as exactly as you said to shut off te UAS and you were right , the Karaoke zip files played perfectly ... however if i leave that UAS setting off, then all sorts of problems occur, firstly the HP security advisor is no longer enabled, also some how the battery on the laptop runs out ... seems with the setting off the battery does not recharge when powered on and plugged into an elctricl outlet ... this was weird, and finally with the UAS switched off, MS Messenger does not open at all Any idea when you will be making the necessary changes to the Gateway151 application as you did with the Debs Pro Karaoke player ... so it can play the zip files when UAS is switched on ?Thanks again & keep up the great work ...RickyGNov 29, 2007#42007-11-29T14:09+00:00Hi Ricardo,Thanks for your post.
