I have been using Substance Modeler for the last 2 years with both Quest 2/3 through the link cable. In that time I have had nothing but issues, which have gotten far worse since I began using Quest 3 since release. The issues are multi-fold: 1 - the cable is often showing as active and connected in the Oculus desktop app, but not detected in Substance Modeler. 2 - Substance Modeler cannot be loaded from within the link VR app. It results in an endless loading screen.3 - the link cable constantly needs to be plugged in and out and the headset reset before it is recognised in VR, even though it's recognised as connected on the desktop app. 4 - when is is connected it doesn't load. It results in either a black, blank screen or 3 endless flasshing loading dots. 5 - link cable has a terrible ratio of loading success with Modeler. And when it does work it often fails when taking the headset off and putting it back on. Modeler is a hybrid VR/desktop program so users may need to enter/exit VR multiple times in a session. This failure can lead to the entire process of resets and restarts and endless plugging in and out of the cable. In summary: an absolute nightmare. Within the last 2 years I would estimate that I've been successful in loading Modeler though the link cable approximately 30-40% of the time. Considering my sole reason to use VR is for. As of January 12, 2021, content started being blocked from running on Flash. After Adobe Flash Player's support has ended after 2020 for all users outside China, and followed by the removal of Flash Player deployments in Windows, Adobe and Harman International have signed an exclusive agreement to provide Flash Player's extended support for enterprise customers under special license terms.[1]HARMAN's Flash Player variant is now numbered as version 50.x to avoid confusion with the Mainland China-only variant that is released by Zhongcheng.References[]↑ Harman + Adobe | HARMAN Digital Transformation SolutionsExternal links[]Official website (original Adobe variant, End of Life page)Official website (global enterprise variant from HARMAN)Official website (Chinese variant from Zhongcheng) V • T • E AdobeCreative CloudAero | After Effects | Animate | Audition | Bridge | Character Animator | Color | Dimension | Dreamweaver | Express | Firefly | Frame.io | Fresco | Illustrator | InDesign | InCopy | Lightroom | Media Encoder | Photoshop (Express) | Portfolio | Premiere Pro | Premiere Rush | Scout | Stock | Substance 3D Assets | Substance 3D Designer | Substance 3D Modeler | Substance 3D Painter | Substance 3D Sampler | Substance 3D StagerDocument CloudAcrobat | Acrobat Reader | Connect | Digital Editions | LiveCycle | Scan | Send & Track | SignExperience CloudAnalytics | Audience Manager | Campaign | Experience Manager | Media Optimizer | Media Server | Primetime | Social | TargetTechnical Communication SuiteCaptivate | FrameMaker | Learning Manager | Presenter (Video Express) | RoboHelp (Server)Former productsActiveShare | Atmosphere | Authorware | Creative Suite (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5.5, 6) | Content Server | Contribute | Device Central | Director | Encore | Edge (Animate) | Fireworks | Flash Builder | Flash Catalyst | FlashPaper | FreeHand | Fuse |
