Patience Young Jedi That's what I thought aswell but I thought that there maybe was some option to change timezone to download from, as in downloading from zones that arent in current peak hours. And Im downloading the full game, I really dont see that happening in 8 hours with 64kbps, been downloading since yesterday and im on the "English Assets 1" right now. Did you order digitally? If not it'd be much easier to install from the discs. Otherwise I think you'll just have to deal with it. I know some people found it helpful to pause it for a few seconds then resume so you could try that. Try and find/ copy the game discs, that will save you a heck of a lot of downloading! Otherwise stop downloading and try restarting the launcher, maybe you'll get a better connection. Otherwise you'd just have to be patient, or try using the Force!! I had to download an update earlier and it downloaded at 2.6MB/s, seems fine to me... Author Posted December 24, 2011 Thanks for all the replies, ive tried pausing and re-starting, it helps speed up connection when its slow but if its mediocre then it might just aswell drop down to slow. Bit of a gamble there hehe. And make sure nothing is competing for the pipe at your end. I forgot I had the whole season of Game of Thrones VOD downloading. Steam download really Slow Hello !
