KIS uninstalled the issues are resolved.I've also read commentary advising impacted users to install 2020 & those users reporting back the situation was worse than 1809.Are you able to:Provide GSI (please select "include Windows logs") as well.The GSI can be uploaded to cloud storage of your choice, please post back the link.If you've performed any diagnostic speedtests - with & without KIS active & have those logs, please also add them to the cloud storage upload.Alternatively, you may wish to follow the advice from Kaspersky Lab Employees requesting OPs to create Incident/s & post back or pm the Inc#, that's also an option, which can be done via your MyKaspersky account - let us know?Thanks. Hawker Author Posted May 25, 2019 I now realise that for quite some time I have been waiting ages for web pages to load and waiting for my email to send/receive and the culprit seems to be KIS. This is wasting a lot of time in my life and I am not going to give it to the KIS app.I have uninstalled it and I am in no rush to reinstall it.Kaspersky need to do something to win me back and there is only so much messing about with KIS that I would be prepared to tolerate.I use NordVPN and there are clearly issues between the two applications. KIS 2020 was just as bad. as my email started hanging straight away.Without KIS my computer is doing fine and web pages load straight away and sending/receiving

I use KIS2022 and SpyHunter 5 and RegHunter 2 on my desktop and have been for almost ten years... until about a week ago, for SOME reason, KIS has been deleting my RegHunter but NOT my SpyHunter... there has no malware damage and no other signs of anything threatening... there WAS a Trojan reading that was in my quaratine section, but I deleted it, so I can't remember specifically what the Trojan was. but it WAS connected to RegHunter, but at that time, I thought it was a false positive reading, so I deleted it from quarantine... AT first, KIS DID let me reinstall Reg, re-activate it and use it BRIEFLY and then it would delete it and ask me to disinfect it... now, KIS will let me re-install it but when I do and I go to the re-activation portion of RegHunter, RegHunter tells me that there is a CONNECTION ERROR, which there is NOT, as I am ON the internet and so I am prevented from re-activating RegHunter... the software proceeds to shut down... SOMETHING is making KIS see Reg as a threat... and I am confuddled as to what's been happening... no matter WHAT I TRY to do, I reach an impasse and am stuck as to what's the problem and what to do... so can ANYONE out there offer me some options or a possible solution...oh, and dropping RegHunter is NOT an option,. In addition my BT email connection sometimes hangs and sometimes takes ages. web pages sometimes just hang but when I switch KIS off they work fine whether with my VPN or not. I was advised to download latest KIS 2020 and did this but it still hung when I triede to send/receive email.I have malwarebytes and so I have protection while KIS is uninstalled.What is my next step? Hi! I have a question or a proposal for you. Situation: I'm working in windows 10 desktop under domain user account with simple user privileges. There is a KIS installed. From time to time a have notifications from It about upcoming software updates, but(!)... I'm unable to install them from User account and KIS gives me a suggestion to ask my system administrator to update them. It is Ok, since I have another local account with admin rights. But(!) due to some software installed, I can not just "switch user" and update software with KIS, instead of this I have to completely log-out (e.g. close my environment, browser, working files, e.t.c... - a lot of stuff and time), log in under admin account and then do the Update, and after that - log-out with admin and login with domain user account again and spend a lot of time to restore the working environment... I've tried to find some workaround and tried to "Run As" KIS GUI with admin rights..., but GUI nevertheless starts with current user rights. So the proposal is: allow KIS to automatically download software updates under logged in user and then allow user to start updates installation process with privileged user account - e.g. button "Start update as..." in user interface.

Solution Hawker Author Solution Posted May 25, 2019 I notice the "like" I saw earlier for my last post has disappeared!I got an email from NordVPN advising me of the steps they take to configure KIS with the NordVPN app. I have just reinstalled KIS and applied these settings. All seems well for now but I will keep trying the web pages and email send/receive to see that this has worked. If it doesn't work this time then KIS is coming off. I just don't want to waste any more of my life on this issue.
