I recently bought Publisher license for Windows and it's the latest stable version of 1.8.3.641. I'm unable to figure out how to change the underscores "_" in the files exported from Publisher into dishes "-" or whatever elements/parameters I like to rename on export. In other words, ALL files exported from Publisher is FileName_1, where 1 indicates the page number. On modern computers and file nomenclature, underscores are irrevocably grotesque. I'm familiar with batch naming via Adobe Bridge; however, I rather not perform the second step. Unless I missed something, please let know how I could change the underscores into dashes. As I wrote before, it does have a few showstopper bugs in its current version, but, IMHO, they are fixable, and the development team is very response to user input. BTW, not every pro needs variable data functionality. #20 They are intentionally not adding more features to Publisher. Publisher has it's own purpose.Also. I bet Microsoft will buy out Adobe within the next two years. They won't change much, but it's basically a natural move for Microsoft to make at this point, to compete with companies such as Salesforce. I bet Publisher will go away or be merged with InCopy.
