Open a black small screen (opening opera animation) on the screen, opening for a second, closing, and this process repeating three or four times before giving up. In the task manager it says a opera crash reporter was on in the background too. I came back from school today and now the black screen thing happens, but a opera gx logo appears. is there anything youve done to fix anything similar to this? I open Google Chrome...and it's using 170 MB memory to run. I open Opera...and it's using 900 GB to run. Why? My icon turns red, for heaven's sake. Part of the reason was that stupid GX corner tab. I turned everything off, and that helped. It was at 1,200 GB before I did that. WHY does the Opera browser now use far more memory than any other browser and task...and I mean far more? A browser should not be using that much memory to run. Google Chrome has 7 tasks running at once....but Opera has 25?..no...sorry...30!? There are a few on the windows task manager that have an ID that is not listed in the Opera task manager. I can kill the tasks and nothing happens but i'm not sure why they are opening up? I do get a bit paranoid about my PC so i'm scared that it might be an infection or something unauthorized running on Opera. I also got Opera GX just now and the same thing is happening.
