The tab horizontal scrollbar is open and now whenever I click on a tab it automatically scrolls away from the current tab I am using all the way back to the very first tab.I noticed opera developer has been doing this for about a month as well, but now opera beta is doing the same thing. Is there any way to stop this and revert to the old behavior? Perhaps have the tab scrollbar stop wherever the current open tab is? I think that is what it did before the recent update. Thanks guys, any help is greatly appreciated linfanusr last edited by Hello. I'd like ask for help. I've recently updated to the leates Opera One and found problem with horizontal scroll bar. I often work with many tabs opened. When i watch, for an example, the last one and close it the scroll bar should stay there and this is behaviour on older relases of Opera but with the new one when i close the last tab (for example, i have 100 tabs opened) then horizontal tab goes to the number 1 af the far left side. I have to scroll to the last position all the time. Downgrade Opera solved issue. Scroll bars are within pages and go away when the page is closed.Tabs bar scrolling is still work in progress in Opera One, so there may be bugs. linfanusr @leocg last edited by linfanusr @leocgHi. I mean horizontal "scroll bar". It is visible when you have many tabs open and ther are too much of them to be displayed so you need to circle between them with horizontal scroll bar that can be enabled in opera://flags.I saw your earlier reply here: we are talking about the same thing. Horizontal scoll bar. I saw that it is missing and replaced in Opera One with scrollable-tab-strip so maybe this is how it is called now.If yes than with the newest update it behavious incorrectly. It should be at the upper side of screen and when i have 100 tabs open and i closed one than this horizontal scroll should be in this same place at the sime place where was closed tab but instead if i closed at the far end of the right side 100-th tab, it moves to the far side on the right and "switching" to 1-st tab visible so if i want to go back to 99-th open tab i have all the time to do scrolling horizontal tab to it and again if i close something there it moves to the far Ctrl + Z - Undo the last action. This simple thing never clicked for me before I saw it on Reddit: In many keyboard shortcuts on Windows and MacOS, adding the shift key makes the shortcut do the opposite of what it normally does.A few examples (On a Mac, replace ctrl or alt with cmd):ctrl-z = undo; shift-ctrl-z = redospace = page down; shift-space = page upctrl-tab (same on Mac) = next tab; shift-ctrl-tab = last tabalt-tab = next app; shift-alt-tab = last appctrl-t = open new tab; shift-ctrl-t = re-open last closed tabYou’ll notice that on almost any shortcut for moving around, you can add shift to move in the opposite direction.Sometimes shift puts a different twist on the action:ctrl-n = new file/document/item; shift-ctrl-n = new folder/smart itemctrl-v = paste; shift-ctrl-v = strip formatting and paste (great for moving text between documents and emails)ctrl-r = refresh; shift-ctrl-r = refresh really hardSo add shift to your favorite keyboard shortcuts, and do everything backward in heels.. ctrl-tab (same on Mac) = next tab; shift-ctrl-tab = last tab. alt-tab = next app; shift-alt-tab = last app. ctrl-t = open new tab; shift-ctrl-t = re-open last closed tab Reopens the last tab you’ve closed. Right now, for me, Opera is not useable at all. With many tabs opened this horizontal scroll tab bar always placing itself at the left side, i have to scroll to the right side where is interesting at the moment tab that i'm on or using, and after closing or wanting to switch to another one near it the horizontall scroll tab bar is going to the left side so right now i stopped to using it because it makes no sense. Extremely annoying, so I'm looking forward to a fix from the developers soon! bigmell last edited by If you right click on the horizontal scrollbar, there is a new option there for left edge and right edge. I would bet someone left some code in there that automatically scrolls back to the left edge in certain conditions, and they didnt have enough tabs open to notice it was scrolling away from the tab that was open.If you open a tab that is not on the current horizontal scrollbar screen (ie you have to scroll to get there), it should not automatically scroll to the first tab (or left edge) it should put the open tab in the middle of the horizontal scrollbar, or the right edge if there are none to the right of it.I have been using ctrl+~ to try and get it to scroll back to the last tab when it auto jumps to the left edge, but it doesnt always work. Sometimes it is hard to find where the tab is on the scrollbar. Disclaimer I haveComments
