From the Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia Jump to navigationJump to search Luigi's Diary laid open on a tableLuigi's Diary is an item in Paper Mario. It is found in a basement of the Mario Bros.' House. This diary of Luigi's can be accessed after Mario gets the Ground Pound ability in Chapter 3. Mario can enter the basement from the brothers' room by ground pounding the floor. After every chapter, there will be a new entry in the diary that can be quite humorous to read. Before Chapter 3, Mario cannot access Luigi's Diary, but he can tell that Luigi is writing in it, because there are music notes coming out through the floor of the brothers' room. However, during Chapter 3, if Mario returns to Toad Town from Boo's Mansion after obtaining the Ground Pound and decides to enter the basement at this point before having finished Chapter 3, Luigi will still be in there and become stunned by Mario's presence for a brief moment. He will flee and take his diary with him. Even if this happens, if Mario enters the basement after leaving the grounds of his house and returning later, he can still find the diary.Luigi's Diary also makes small references to spinoff games from the Super Mario franchise, which includes the Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, and Mario Party series, and even a note of Luigi possibly getting his own game, which turned out to be Luigi's Mansion.Entries[edit]Page 1[edit]Once again, my brother went on an exciting journey. Once again, he went alone. It's so unfair! I remember the carefree days when we played Golf and Tennis and had Parties. I remodeled the house and made a secret basement my brother has no idea! It's the perfect place to write in you, my secret diary.Page

Running around them like in the minigame Eye Sore from Mario Party 3, the player must draw circles around them with the Wii Remote. As of this game, the irises and pupils of the Mr. I's take on a more oblong shape, like in Super Mario 64 DS. The Mr. I's are not defeated the first time they get dizzy; instead, the Mr. I's reappear twice in progressively enlarged forms. Whoever defeats all three Mr. I forms first wins the minigame. The loser is haunted by small Mr. I's.Mario Party Superstars[edit]Mr. I reappears in Mario Party Superstars, retaining its design from Mario Party 8. Just like in Mario Party 2, it appears on Horror Land and will warp the player to the other side of the board. Mr. I's also run the losers out after a game on Horror Land has ended. He also has his own page in the encyclopedia. Unlike in previous games, Mr. I is incapable of speech, with his stare being interpreted by the in-game narration instead.Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour[edit]In Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, the name "Mr. I." can appear on the leaderboard.Super Paper Mario[edit]In Super Paper Mario, Mr. I, written as Mister I, appears in Merlee's Mansion and Castle Bleck; these Mister I's are immune to conventional attacks, and they can be defeated only by running around them repeatedly while using Mario's Flip technique. Alternatively, the player may use Fleep's ability on them to defeat much easier. A total of three can be found in the game. In this appearance, Mister I's attack the player by shooting them with a cyan laser beam, like in Mario Party 5. The game also introduces a subspecies of Mister I called Red I.Profiles and statistics[edit]Super Paper Mario[edit]Super Paper Mario enemyMister IMax HP??RoleCommonLocation(s)Merlee's Basement (2-4), Castle Bleck Entry (8-1)Attack2Card
