Tweaking.com Support Forums » Main Forum » Tweaking.com Support & Help (Moderators: Shane, Boggin, Julian) » Improvement for technician toolbox Topic: Improvement for technician toolbox (Read 10164 times) 0 Members and 1 Guest are viewing this topic. I have been using technician toolbox both personally and professionally (it is a great tool). However, there is one feature that I would love to see added. When accessing the "manage users and groups" portion of the tool, if the computer is a member of a domain, you get the option to select if you want to view the users/groups of the local computer or the domain, but the tool is limited in that respect. Say I need to add a domain user to the administrator group on the local computer. There is no way to do this in technician toolkit. You can only interact with objects that are in the same "instance" (local or domain) you currently have selected, and I have to do it the manual way. If this feature can be added, that would be sweet Logged Tweaking.com Support Forums » Main Forum » Tweaking.com Support & Help (Moderators: Shane, Boggin, Julian) » Improvement for technician toolboxLocal OT Forums - flota.org

Overiding "Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation" Thread starter clemrock Start date Aug 7, 2006 Status Not open for further replies. #1 Hello, I have an application that is causing flash player to display the ""Macromedia Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation" warning message and I was wondering if there was a way to override this w/ a publishing setting or an actionscript System command. It's rather crucial that I kill this error message for our users. Thanks for your help!Clem C #2 Since Flash Player 8 local SWFs are not allowed to communicate with network by default. If your SWF requires network connection ONLY then you can set the security type to "Local-with-networking" in the Publish Settings dialog box. But this means your SWF is now not allowed to communicate with local files. The best solution is to create a Projector - Projectors have no restrictions. The other way is to create a FlashPlayerTrust configuration file, but you'll need to create an installer so that you can find the directory to place this file and write it to the local disk. All are described in here: Kenneth Kawamoto Thread starter #3 Hey - thanks for the reply and the link - this is great!I solved my problem by exporting the file as an .exe file and it runs fine!Cheers! #4 Yep, that's known as "Projector"!Kenneth Kawamoto Status Not open for further replies. A step-by-step pre-installation process and it will take you through the best way to prepare for the move to a new version of macOS.Where to Find macOS Ventura FeedbackIf you’ve already moved your Mac to macOS Ventura 13.6.6 or if you’re planning to upgrade in the near future, you’ll want to sift through feedback from early adopters. This feedback will alert you to potential bugs and performance issues. We recommend keeping an eye on YouTube, Apple’s discussion forums, social media sites like Twitter/Facebook, and the MacRumors forums for additional feedback about macOS Ventura’s performance. We’ve released our impressions of the software’s performance and it’s worth a look if you want feedback before you install the software. We’ve also put together a list of the best reasons to, and not to, install the latest version of macOS Ventura and it’s worth a look if you’re on the fence. How to Fix macOS Ventura ProblemsSome of macOS Ventura 13.6.6’s issues might require a fix from Apple though you may be able to fix some problems on your own. Before you make an appointment at your local Apple Store, have a look at our list of fixes for the most common macOS Ventura problems. You may be able to find what you’re looking for there. If your Mac’s battery is draining faster than it should be, we’ve released a guide that will show you how to fix macOS Ventura battery life problems. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in our guides, head on over to Apple’s discussion forums. If they can’t help you, you might want to get in contact with customer support via Apple’s website. If you still can’t fix your issue(s), you might want to schedule an appointment to see a Genius at your local Apple Store. They should be able to diagnose your problem in minutes.macOSComments
