However there was issues with the loading speed of the sounds initially. They worked nicely in Kontakt with no issues at all from then on. There are some nice effects that come with the module for Kontakt but nothing majorly impressive that other third party plugins can't do. The configuration of sound selection is quite confusing though, and there seems to be no difference between the "cinematic" and "single" sounds except for loading times. Beware of this sample pack if you have a slow or low end PC.This sample set does take a long time to load in kontakt and has a heavy cpu load. Lots of the sounds are remarkably poor too for the expectations. I wouldn't even consider it stable as it has been the source of many crashes because of problems loading some wavs of the collection. However this is easily fixable by re-saving the library, but that takes time and even more space on your hard-drive. I have been using this sample pack for a few weeks now and have used pretty much every sound there is in the pack. There is only one real sound that I love from the pack, the rest are distinctly average strings that I would prefer to use Philharmonik over at a lighter memory load and even better sounding. The sound quality is pretty much faultless but every sound is pretty much the same. Knowing what I know I don't think I would have

Common in legato circles, but did feel a little excessive, particularly when it comes to the higher dynamic register. Meanwhile, the cello section also exhibits minor swells, but nowhere near to the same degree. We also need to point out occasional glitches in the legato sound, which are likely to be eradicated with future library updates.Thankfully, because of the significant options across the Legato articulations, you will probably be able to find something that works with your cue, though individual programming can do much to lessen any issues that might make your string section sound unrealistic.(Image credit: EastWest Sounds)It’s a wrap!Hollywood Strings 2 is a classy and versatile performer. It contains a significant number of articulation options, despite the relatively modest 160GB data footprintWithin the Opus instrument, sample loading is fast, while its low-latency performance is very impressive indeed. This does come with the price of CPU loading, which is definitely hungrier than other similar sample-based options, from other brands. The included ensemble size is arguably perfect for both commercial and cinematic applications, and with a richly diverse sound palette, this is a very usable library, at both the practical and sonic levels.MusicRadar verdict: EastWest has created a worthy addition to the applauded Hollywood Orchestra series, which provides enormous variety and tonal colour, applicable to a diverse set of musical placements.EastWest Sounds Hollywood Strings 2: The web says"The more intimate sound, and the excellent close‑miking options, deliver something distinct from, but complementary to, HS1. Standalone and no fiddling with things like iLok etc.2. Low Requirements (Space, CPU, RAM)3. Short Loading Times4. Many Instruments5. A ton of settings6. Short latency without additional workIn principle, I agree with you on all those points. However, I recently bought Ivory II Studio Grands, and they fare like this:1. Standalone and no fiddling with things like iLok etc.2. Low Requirements (running on an old, refubished DELL core-i3 office PC).3. Short Loading Times (similar to Pianoteq).4. Two Instruments.5. A ton of settings6. Short latency without additional workPretty much the same as Pianoteq, and the Studio Grands sound far better. I wish Modarrt could fix the aspects of the sound that irritate (for me there is a kind of "voice less" burst of air right before every sound begins ... I know, difficult to convey meaningfully in words, but that's about the best I can do with this experience).I expect Pianoteq to be really good at some point in the future. My gut tells me that future is more than 10 years away.Physical instruments: Roland FP-30, and E-28Virtual instruments: "The Experience" piano collection, NI "The Maverick", Galaxy II Grand piano collection, Synthogy Ivory II Studio Grands, Production Voices Estate Grand, Garritan CFXLoading Sounds and Sound Effects - Voicy

This can happen if you have moved the sound file or have renamed file folders. To relink broken sounds to their sound files you can select one or more broken sounds in the list, right-click the selection and use the Search for Missing Files... command. Podium will search for the missing files in the folder you specify. Note that this method will not work if you have renamed the sound files. In that case you should select Properties for the broken sound, and use the Relink file... button in the Sound Properties dialog.2.5.4. Problem: Static-like/loading sound Thread starter Thread starter Frequent4 Start date Start date Apr 3, 2014 You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. #1 Just received my PC from UPS on Tuesday(4/1), everything ran great and started well. It was the quietest computer I have owned...Today, it just started making a static-like/old school loading sound coming from the motherboard. It is a physical sound, not one over the speakers. I have taken the side panel off to listen closer and it is definitely coming from the motherboard area. I checked all the fans, it was none of those. It's a sound I haven't heard before. I have turned off power, and the sound goes away, and rebooted and the sound comes back. Not sure what it is, or what to do to fix. Its obviously very annoying to try and be near the tower because you constantly hear that sound. Please help,ThanksHardware:CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i5-4670K 3.40 GHz 6MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150FAN: Asetek 510LC 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory (ADATA XPG V2)MOTHERBOARD: ASUS Z87-K ATX w/ GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16 (1 Gen3, 1 Gen2), 2 PCIe x1, 3 PCIPOWERSUPPLY: 800 Watts - Standard Certified Power Supply VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video CardWNC: PCI Wireless 802.11n 150Mbps Network Interface Card Shaun o Apr 3,Loading Sound Effect - Orange Free Sounds
Parameter. You can adjust the modulation amount with the fader itself.Let’s check out the initial sound of the preset on our guitar instrument. Turn the track down to -6dB otherwise we’ll clip the master, which means the signal will be distorted, and won’t give us an accurate idea about how the preset sounds. Turning down the track This instantly has a lot more character, and we can of course customise the sound by adjusting the Guitar Rig 7 effects’ parameters. Try unsyncing the Replika GT effect by changing the Time mode to milliseconds (ms), and experimenting with different Time and Feedback levels. Adjusting the Time will affect the rhythm of the effect, and the feedback controls how long the delay effects lasts. Putting the delay effect in millisecond mode This gives us a much more atmospheric feel than the dry guitar sound.2. Create guitar-like synth leadsThis time let’s use a synth sound and some distortion to create an expressive, wailing guitar lead. First load up Super 8 on a MIDI track. Its default tone might not sound much like a guitar, but it’s a great starting point for our sound. The default Super 8 patch Copy the MIDI part we’ve used here, or create your own. The Super 8 part Now add Guitar Rig 7 to the track, again selecting Guitar for the Input Source. Double-click the Metalcore Stereo preset to load it up. Loading the Metalcore Stereo preset This instantly gives our synth an electric guitar-like tone, though it’s a little dry. Next select the components button, and locate Replika GR in the alphabetically organized list of effects. Double-click it to add it to the signal chain. Adding Replika GR Now double-click Raum to add it. Set Raum’s mix to 25% to make it less overwhelming. Adding Raum Let’s add a touch of pitch-bend to make our synth guitar sound more expressive. Add a ramp to pitch-bend the last note all the way up. Applying pitch-bend 3. Create vocal-style bassGuitar Rig 7’s Auto Filter effect is particularly useful for giving tones a vocal feel. Again we’ll start with Super 8. This time click the patch name to bring up the browser, then click the Bass tag and double-click the Brain Basic preset. Loading the Brain Basic preset Copy the MIDI pattern we’ve used here, or create your own. The Brain Basic pattern Add Guitar Rig 7, set the Input Sources to Bass, and double-click the Autofilter Bass preset to load it up. The Autofilter Bass preset This already gives us an interesting vocal-style timbre, and we can enhance that with some slight changes to the Auto Filters parameters. Set the Sensitivity to 0.92, the Range to 0.00, the Res to 9.40, and the Mode to 14% : 86%. Adjusting Auto Filter parameters 4. Make modular synth-style sequencesLet’s use a Guitar Rig 7 chain to make a psychedelic synth sound. Again starting with Super 8, this time load the Classic Sun preset. I have the release of Bubble listed above and the Matrix TV app. Launching Matrix, I select my stream, play it in Bubble with my Chromecast selected as Renderer, with local transcoding selected.
