53 reviews1 followerJanuary 24, 2016The book is filled with testimonies of many who were not only physically restored to health but who entered into a relationship with God for the first time by being spiritually reborn. Kathryn Kuhlman, who always credited these wonderful miracles to the Holy Spirit, was not only an instrument of God's healing love, but she was also a wonderful teacher about God's way of life and His power. Great book.....if you want to be encouraged read it. christianity faith faith-in-christ 7 reviewsAugust 21, 2008A tremendous woman of Faith! She travelled this world over many many times. Her teachings are life changing.811 reviews12 followersFebruary 23, 2018I wasn’t sure what this book was going to be about, but it was soon clear that this woman, Kathryn Kuhlman, was a faith healer. The only thing I could recall about faith healing was on an episode of The Walton’s. Other than that, even looking up faith healing online didn’t really find much. A lot of skepticism is out there of course, and really wasn’t the last person to perform miracles of healing, Jesus? This woman went to places around Pennsylvania, and witnessed by audiences of probably thousands, had services that healed many people suffering from various types of sicknesses such as cancer, alcoholism, arthritis, and birth defects. She didn’t necessarily lay her hands on the sick people, and sometimes didn’t even know who she was praying for, but the few stories in this book attest to the fact that some people, through their faith and love of the Lord, were healed. The stores of healing in this book took place in the 1940’s and 1950’s. According to the internet, Kathryn passed away in 1976, so I often wondered while reading these stories what if this happened today? Maybe it does, but is obviously not publicized? I would say the one thing I got out of this book, the most important thing, is the power of God is so overwhelming we can’t even grasp His power. Prayer is powerful. Nothing is impossible to God. 3,598 reviews29 followersMay 26, 2022Another testimonies of healing by the author. The people who was healed was from many denominations. This is how evangelism should do. Nothing theological things in this book, just testimonies of healing.christian christian-healingNovember 12, 2015Moving miracle storiesEnjoyed reading this book very much. Terrible layout confusing Very confusing layout. I was watching loveworld USA app on my Apple TV where Benny says to download this app after speaking about being able to watch all Kathryn Kuhlman, oral Roberts and others on demand. I download the app and it’s not that at all. Also there’s like 3 other loveworld apps. I feel whoever is organizing this for Benny Hinn is not very organized. And character, our Lord expressly appealed. "If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do them, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father" (John 10:37, 38).It is therefore a mistake to try to put the evidence of the miracles into a logically demonstrative argument. Paley stated the case too much in this almost anathematized form."It is idle," he said, "to say that a future state had been discovered already. It had been discovered as the Copernican system was; it was one guess among many. He alone discovers who proves; and no man can prove this point but the teacher who testifies by miracles that his doctrine comes from God" (Moral and Polit. Philosophy, book V, chapter ix, close).Coleridge, in the Aids to Reflection, criticizes the above and puts the argument in a more just and more human form."Most fervently do I contend, that the miracles worked by Christ, both as miracles and as fulfillments of prophecy, both as signs and as wonders, made plain discovery, and gave unquestionable proof, of His Divine character and authority; that they were to the whole Jewish nation true and appropriate evidences, that He was indeed come who had promised and declared to their forefathers, Behold your God will come with vengeance, even God, with a recompense! He will come and save you. I receive them as proofs, therefore, of the truth of every word which He taught who was Himself the Word: and as sure evidences of the final victory over death and of the life to come, in that they were manifestations of Him who said: I am the resurrection and the life!" (note prefatory to Aphorism CXXIII).This seems the fittest manner in which to contemplate the evidence afforded by miracles.V. Miracles in the Old Testament.1. Analogy with New Testament Miracles:If the miracles ascribed to our Lord and His apostles are established on the grounds now stated, and are of the value just explained, there can be little

Any testimony can prove a miracle, because they say miracles are impossible. We have shown that miracles are possible, and surely they can be borne witness to. Surely they are credible when we have abundant and trustworthy evidence of their occurrence. They are credible just as any facts of history well authenticated are credible. Miracles, it is said, are contrary to experience. Of course they are contrary to our experience, but that does not prove that they were contrary to the experience of those who witnessed them. We believe a thousand facts, both of history and of science, that are contrary to our experience, but we believe them on the ground of competent testimony. An atheist or a pantheist must, as a matter of course, deny the possibility of miracles; but to one who believes in a personal God, who in his wisdom may see fit to interfere with the ordinary processes of nature, miracles are not impossible, nor are they incredible.
