I downloaded the update to iOS16 but it won't install until I get the latest version of iTunes, which iTunes says I already have. Unable to install iTunes on my Win 8.1 Pro PC:iTunes was originally installed and working until I received a notice to update it to the latest version. When I attempted to install the newer version, I received an error saying, "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."t I proceeded to uninstall the original iTunes version, made sure that all of the latest updates to Window were installed and restarted the PC. Afterwards, I downloaded the latest version on iTunes form the Apple store (64-bit Windows version) and attempted to install it form scratch. I still received the error message, and now I do not have iTunes.
