Took 4 hours yesterday and 4 hrs again today.See the first post Scanning/Faxing and Copying section about Windows 11 problems. The guidance from HP was to pull the power cable with the printer still on. Then press and hold power button to fully clear any stored energy in the system. Pulled the power cable, waited 2-3 mins, pressed Power button for a minute and plugged the printer direct to the wall outlet (it was in an extension). Reinstalled the basic driver software from Print/Scan Doctor and ... it works. Just printed and scanned ok. Couldn't get Smart Scan app to work though. It installs but won't boot.
