Then reinstalled Oblivion + Shivering Isles, patched it, and made a copy of my clean data folder.I then installed mod tools (Wrye Bash 291, OBMM, BOSS, Tweak Oblivion, TESCS) and subtools (OBSE and it's plugins (OSR, Pluggy, Elys Uncapper, OBGE v2, Fast Exit, MenuQue)) As well as FCOM: Convergence. I tested it all out and it all worked fine. FCOM Konvergenz ist eine Modifikatio I've recently done a fresh install of Oblivion/SI with FCOM, and I'm having a problem. No matter what I do, my video settings reset in-game about 5-10 seconds after entering the game world (not my resolution, but everything else - Specular Dist, Grass Dist, etc.). They're fine in the main menu and in the tutorial dungeon, but as soon as I enter Tamriel my settings go bonkers. I can even open up the menu, reset the settings to high quality, and close it again, only to find that they've reset back to defaults 2 seconds later. I have no idea what could be causing this. This has happened to me before in the past, but usually I just delete the 'My Documents/My Games/Oblivion' folder, and then reset my options and they stick. This is also not the first time I've installed FCOM - far from it. I've gotten it to work perfectly many times, but for some reason no matter what I do I can't fix these settings. I've even uninstalled it and done a second fresh install with FCOM, and the problem persists. The odd thing is that the video settings actually stick before I load FCOM. After FCOM is installed, they go berserk. I should also mention that they seem to choose random values when they reset - sometimes everything is maxed out except Grass Dist. & Specular Dist., but usually when I correct these two, all the other sliders go back to defaults or even lower. Bored that at level 25 every bandit in the world are god-like enemies with daedric equipment? Then this mod is for you. We think that the game has to be challenging, but that not every fight has to be an epic one. This mod aims to create a more realistic and enjoyable Oblivion experience. It won't make the game easier (although maybe a bit harder depending on what options you choose), just more credible and fun to play.This mod changes nearly all the creature lists to make them more static. Even though you will still find very strong stuff at higher levels, you will often (for example) find normal skeletons and zombies in dungeons, wolves and imps in the wilderness and so on. Not every bandit will level up with you, some of them will be static. Most leveled item lists have also been changed, in vanilla Oblivion at level 20 you used to find only high level armors and weapons and low-mid stuff nearly disappeared from the game.
