Android Browser iPhone Admins can test Veeva Engage features in a sandbox org, including joining Engage meetings, by downloading one of the following Veeva Engage mobile apps, or by accessing the Engage Web Client: Veeva Engage Android app in Google Play Veeva Engage iOS app in Apple App Store Windows 7+ HCP and Speaker app for desktop/laptop This enables admins to test new Engage features and review data in a separate environment that does not affect the corresponding production org. Admins can test Engage meetings in sandboxes while being signed in or while being signed out of Veeva Engage. You can only register for push applications for one Veeva application per device. If you have Veeva CRM, Engage, and Engage Connect installed on the same device, you receive push notifications for whichever app you are logged in to and most recently opened. When testing push notifications, you must use two separate devices, one for Engage Connect or Veeva CRM and the other for the Engage app. Testing Without Signing in To test Veeva Engage in sandboxes without signing in: Select the appropriate Engage meeting link from the meeting invitation to display the Meeting Registration screen. Enter the appropriate First and Last Name. Select Join Meeting. Testing on mobile devices requires the Veeva Engage app. If the admin selects an Engage link in CRM and does not have the app installed, a landing page prompts them to install the app. Testing functionality on the Engage Speaker App on Windows requires joining. Add the following fields to the appropriate User object page layout: Engage_Connect_Group_vod Engage_Connect_Group_Status_vod Engage_Connect_Group_Request_vod Defining Org-Wide Default Settings Engage Connect group settings have an org-wide default that applies to all licensed Engage users unless they are assigned to a specific Engage Connect group with an overriding value. Once org-wide settings are enabled, HCPs can view the contact information of connected users, for example, their email address or phone number. To set org-wide default: Navigate to the Organization Settings section of the Engage Connect Administration tab. Edit the appropriate Engage Connect Group Settings. Select Save. Managing Engage Connect Groups To create an Engage Connect group and add users to the group: Navigate to the Engage Connect Administration tab. Select Create New Group. Define the group name and all applicable Engage Connect group settings. The group settings for new Engage Connect groups are automatically populated according to the org-wide default settings. Edit the auto-populated values to override the defined org-wide default settings for the group. Select the appropriate Brands for the group. Select Save. Navigate to the appropriate User records. Populate the Engage_Connect_Group_Request_vod field with the name of the appropriate Engage Group. The Engage_Connect_Group_Status_vod field indicates the status of the request.
