#8 I've only experienced it helping in games... and you need the MS Hotfix as well as the Dual Core Optimizer.Basically before installing the DC Optimizer and MS Hotfix, NFS Underground was pretty much unplayable on my Opteron 165 & 7800GT SLI rig.Here's a good write up on XS about how to install everything properly. #10 Once the DC Optimizer is installed... that's it. Without it my rig would hesitate and kinda choke-up during games. It wasn't bad, just anoying after a while like 1 core was doing all the work while the other core just did nothing.It wasn't a performance increase, but overall reaction.
