Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Studio Trigger’s (Kill la Kill, Promare) 10-episode anime series set in the same universe as CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, is finally here — and it totally whips. Executive produced by Rafal Jaki (Gwent: The Witcher Card Game), co-written by Bartosz Sztybor (Cyberpunk 2077), and directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Promare), the series follows the story of David Martinez, a street kid from the Night City borough of Santo Domingo who goes to an Arasaka Corporation charter school. Following a tragedy that leaves him orphaned, David submits himself to being implanted with an experimental cyberware augmentation and turns to the only life left for him: becoming an edgerunner, a cybernetic mercenary for hire who joins a gang of fellow “cyberpunks’’ in search of fame and fortune.Fans of CD Projekt Red’s 2020 action-RPG may be curious as to how Edgerunners relates to the story of Cyberpunk 2077, if at all. Choices In Cyberpunk 2077 & Phantom Liberty DLC That Feel Like A Punishment Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion are full of choices that affect the late-game, but some are harder to make than others. Tyger Claw Secret Message In Cyberpunk 2077 Is Very Accurate The Tyger Claws Are Without Equal In Night City The Tyger Claw message found throughout Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 isn't too far from the truth, at least when it comes to their reputation. The Tyger Claws are canonically one of the largest gangs in Night City, ruling over Japantown and its surrounding areas. They make a lot of money in the entertainment industry, using traditional Yakuza and Triad tactics to run nightclubs, casinos, and braindance bars to lure in customers and profit off of them. While they started out as a small group in Night City, the Tyger Claws have grown to have around 5,500 members in 2077, making them a huge thorn in V's side throughout Cyberpunk 2077. Unlike most gangs in Night City, the Tyger Claws have largely rejected Cyberware, making them unique in the criminal underworld, although they have grown to implement it over time, customizing their Cyberware to fit their style and culture. More often, however, the Tyger Claws prefer to rely on traditional fighting techniques, as well as the use of melee weapons, such as katanas and knives. The Tyger Claws are certainly a unique gang in Cyberpunk 2077, and their "peerless" symbol spray-painted and lit up inCyberpunk 2025: 5 Secret Locations with Secret Loot! - YouTube
Image: Attack of the Fanboy Discover some bittersweet callbacks to Edgerunners in Cyberpunk 2077! | Published: Sep 28, 2023 12:47 pm The 2.0 update of Cyberpunk 2077 added more than gameplay enhancements. The game was already no stranger to referencing its hit show before then, but this update also added some extra visual references in the form of memorials. Fans of Edgerunners will almost certainly want to know the locations of each memorial in Cyberpunk 2077, allowing them to see a few extra tributes given to their favorite characters. Locations of Each Edgerunners Memorial in Cyberpunk 2077 Image: Attack of the Fanboy The memorials can be found within the North Oak Columbarium in Westbrook. This area can’t be accessed until the start of Act 2, so you’ll need to play through some of the main story first. Once you’re able to start accessing the city in full, getting to the Columbarium is as simple as driving over to it. There aren’t any other major requirements to get inside and see the memorials. The Columbarium will have a number of different memorials, but the ones specific to Edgerunners can be found simply by walking forward. You’ll see a pair of memorials dedicated to four characters from the show along one of the right walls, and the back wall of the area will have two more. You can scan each memorial, though there isn’t much of a point in doing so, as none of them can be hacked. Related: How to Get David’s Edgerunner Jacket in Cyberpunk 2077 These memorials don’t have any hidden items or collectibles to find, simply being an extra nod to the show’s characters. If you haven’t watched the show, you might want to avoid the Columbarium for the time being, as it will undoubtedly be a massive.
