I discovered that in the more current versions of Moon+Reader and/or Calibre, the two connect better if instead of just entering the displayed IP address on the content server into Moon+Reader, you need to add a new connection, at which point Moon+Reader provides "local Calibre server" as an option. Using that, and entering the correct ip address, restores the functionality I had in my previous installations with a more manual setup.I didn't find a way to just delete this post, so now instead of a request for help it describes the solution - hopefully someone else will find it helpful. CC on my android tablet connects to calibre content server if calibre PC is on, or to dropbox backup if that PC is asleep. downloads books to tablet. Moon + is configured to check the same CC folder in moon: My files preferences, or I open a new book once from in CC with Moon as the default reader gets the book into moon. ( moon does not re-copy the actual book, it just creates a database entry ) CC is v cheap but if all you want to do is transfer a couple of books each time then delete them after reading, the demo version is all you'd need.to remove finished books I first delete the entries in Moon recents & bookmarks , but untick delete the file; then I go delete the file in CC. This keeps things tidy, with no orphan entries 07-15-2017, 01:33 AM #3 Connoisseur Posts: 63 Karma: 5532 Join Date: Jul 2017 Device: MoonReader+ Android app on Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite and otherst Quote: Originally Posted by stumped use calibre companion as the go between is what I CC is v cheap but if all you want to do is transfer a couple of books each time then delete them after reading, the demo version is all you'd need.s I'll check into it; I typically delete books from my tablet after reading, leaving them on my computer. I had seen info on CC but thought the free version wouldn't be adequate and didn't want to pay (cheapskate here!). But if it will allow transferring a few books at a time, which is what I like to do anyway, it might be useful.Thanks. 07-15-2017, 02:35 AM #4 Wizard Posts: 3,305 Karma: 10259306 Join Date: May 2016

Couple Karma - Love App for PC - How to Install on Windows

Hey Mint users. We know you’re in the market for a new budgeting app. And we know there are plenty of options out there—so how do you pick? Let’s talk through a comparison of Mint vs. EveryDollar. Mint is closing their budgeting app on March 23, 2024. The EveryDollar budgeting app offers similar features to what Mint offered. EveryDollar has a free and paid version. EveryDollar is one of the few free options and is more customizable than other competitors in the free budgeting app space. What Is Mint?Mint was one of the most popular budgeting apps out there for years. A part of the Intuit family, they were related to TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma and Mailchimp. But we keep using the past tense with those verbs. That’s because in the fall of 2023, Mint announced they were shutting down on March 23, 2024. What’s next? Mint’s offering current budgeters (all four million of them) the opportunity to move their data over to Credit Karma—but Credit Karma doesn’t offer budgeting. So, while you’ll have a spot to see your financial accounts and transactions in one place, you won’t have an actual budgeting tool. If this is you, we feel for you. Seriously. We love budgeting and budgets. The thought of losing the app you’ve used to create and meet your money goals over the years . . . it more than sucks. First of all, please don’t stop budgeting. You still have some awesome options! But first, let’s get a rundown the features you were used to (so we can stack them next to an alternative to Mint in a minute). What Were Mint’s Features?Free Features Included Create monthly budgets Customize budgets Get financial insights into your spending and saving Set due date notifications Connect to multiple financial accounts in
