This will at least The re-engineered, redesigned, and rebuilt Web Form Builder is ready! Powered by a clever mix of the latest web technologies — JavaScript, XML, PHP, CSS, and most certainly HTML 5 — and jam-packed with all sorts of new goodies, it’s ready to take the world. This release is exclusively available to customers who have purchased the Mega Pack Special . If you're a Mega Pack owner, just go to your My Products page and download it!Of course, you can still use the classic Web Form Builder, and you can even have both versions installed at the same time. To see how this version stacks up to the classic Flash Web Form Builder, we made a comparison chart that you can find here: Feature comparison chart So how will this release work?We are thrilled to have achieved this first release and we want to make sure it’s fun and goes smoothly for everybody. So there is no confusion, here's how it will work: The new version of Web Form Builder is only available to Mega Pack customers right now. This “Lite” release will work with S-Drive Forms. All CoffeeCup customers are entitled to a free S-Drive account; just select your address (if you haven’t yet) and sign in with your CoffeeCup account information. Then you’ll be able to publish your web forms and easily add them to any website. All data processing, storage, and reporting is automatic. With this Lite version, the server scripts cannot be exported for use on your own server. This feature will be part of the full version which will be added to your account automatically within the next 2–3 weeks. This step-by-step process in a more controlled environment allows us to quickly address any issues that may arise. Also, we're confident that you won't want to use anything else once you see it used on S-Drive Forms. Over the next 1–2 weeks we will monitor all customer feedback, (unlikely) issues, and suggestions. We’ll make sure that everything is addressed and then release the full version of Web Form Builder. That version will allow you to upload your form to S-Drive as well as export the scripts for use on your own servers. If you are already a registered user of the Flash version and would like to have access and help steer the direction of this new version, you need to purchase the Form Builder Mega Pack. We won't decide until the program is released what sort of "upgrade" price we will have for just the new version by itself; it may be only $29 or we may not have anything at all. If you think $29 for the Mega Pack is a good deal (which it definitely is!) then don't take any risk—get it while it’s still available! You’ll then be guaranteed to get the new version as part of that pack, free of charge. So with that, post your comments here on what you think of the new Web Form Builder. We are very proud of it.CoffeeCup Web Form Builder Lite - Download
Software and Web Design Forums The new Web Form Builder is here! -... Mark Struthers wrote:Sorry. Just seen it's a 'lite version' that works with something called S Drive. I don't have that. Can the new form builder be used independently? Please read the first message in this post . Everything you need to know about this release is described in there. Another - Using the blank Theme, if you use a Dashed Line, it is bigget than the width of the form itself. In the other themes, it is central and smaller. Mark Loves CoffeeCup Will we have the ability to change the date format from 12/25/2011 to 25/12/2011?How do you implement the Password in the Password Field?I know this is a Lite version, so I hope my comments are not hacking you off. Mark Loves CoffeeCup I think you're on to something and while I've not had a chance to look at the code yet, I do have a few requests based on what I've been playing with: 1. as requested above, I would like the ability to move the fields around the page and maybe put some side by side, this is not only a space issue, but a practical issue. People don't like to scroll and the more I can add in their face the more likely they will fill it out completely. 2. I would like to see dynamic tips appear for some of the selections so I don't have to look up the properties of each type of field 3. I would like more info on what the keys for captcha are -- not for s-drive 4. I would like better field validation: zip codes, emai format, phone numbers, etc. I would like the verification be for both required and format. 5. I'm assuming we can hook the data collection to a mySQL db at some point? 6. I want to add forms to templated pages, how will that work? 7. I'd like to create my own themes, will that be possible? 8. I've had other form projects that left so much div & css code that it was ridiculous so the cleaner the code the better for meThanks! I know tha there will be the ability to Tweak the Themes in the final version. However, will CC be putting together some themes for sale as with other CC products?BTW - The programme runs pretty smooth on my machine, but the install did seem to take a bit of time. Mark Loves CoffeeCup Looks fantastic. Just wanted to clarify one thing. With the full version will I be able to do the same as the flash version and have the PHP and other files generated automatically and saved to my local pc I can then ftp them so that my server posts the message? One thing tho, when i adjust the form to, lets say 400px(?) the captcha doesnt minimize with the rest of the form. Am i doing something wrong here, or is there no way to change the width and hight on the captcha? That is because the reCAPTCHA box has a minium 400px size set to it. So you are not crazy. We will be looking into ways to style that box later down the line. For now, if you want reCAPTCHA, your form has to be at least 400px wide. Flash version of web form builder??? Wowza!
