2025-04-10A base Hanged Man's Venom, Bear Fat, Han Fiber, Nekker Eye, Fool's Parsley Leaves, Arenaria, and Mandrake Root. 5 Superior Ogroid Oil Similar to elementa, ogroid creatures are rather rare to come across in The Witcher 3, only seen in secluded areas or high-level areas. Killing these trolls rewards amazing loot if you can take down the tanky beasts. To take them down quickly, Superior Ogroid Oil can be crafted to grant a 50% damage boost against them. To craft it, you will need Enhanced Ogroid Oil, 2 Alchemy Paste, Cave Troll Liver, Arenaria, Ranogrin, Ribleaf, and Aether. Troll enemies become significantly easier to deal with once this oil is applied to your weapon. 4 Beast Oil Beasts are some of the most common enemies you will face in The Witcher 3. From wolves to bears, these enemies can prove fearsome early game when Geralt is lacking good weapons and armor. Luckily, Beast Oil is some of the easiest oil to craft in the game, only needing Dog Tallow and 2 Wolf's Liver. Both of those items are incredibly easy to obtain, and the result is an oil that deals 10% bonus damage against beasts for 20 strikes. It isn't nearly as powerful as the enhanced or superior variants, but those variants are rather overkill when past the early game where Geralt has good weapons to deal with wolves. 3 Enhanced Necrophage Oil Necrophages are arguably the most common creatures in The Witcher 3 outside of humans. These include drowners, rotfiends, hags, and wights. These enemies can be deadly if not quickly dispatched. Enhanced Necrophage Oil can provide the edge you need in battle, granting a 25% damage increase against necrophage enemies for 40 attacks. Making it is easy enough, requiring a standard Necrophage Oil, 4 Bear Fat, Rotfiend Blood, Blowball, Arenaria, Pringrape, and Cortinarius. Drowners and similar enemies in higher-level difficulties become significantly easier with this oil applied. 2 Superior Specter Oil Specters are the scariest enemy types in The Witcher 3. They can deal massive melee damage or use magic to leech health or create copies of themselves. As a result, obtaining powerful oils to slay them is paramount in higher-level difficulties. To craft Superior Specter Oil, you will need Enhanced Specter Oil, Alchemy Paste, Essence of Wraith, Longrube, Mistletoe, Ergot Seeds, and Rebis. 50% increased damage against these monsters is incredibly strong in any difficulty but its
