In today's context Ausaf Siddiqi (Usmani ) in Kuwait represents the same family.Inthe recent past Mohammad Faseeh Alias Mohammad Arab migrated to his maternals at Kashia and settled there.ShahMohammad Siddeeq Rahmtaullahi settled in Saiyid Sarawan.Mahmadpur(Near Puraini)Thelatest but an important off-shoot of Behka family are the Siddiqis ofMahmadpur adjacent to village Puraini. In 1901 the above-mentioned MohammadNasir s/o Mohammad Yusuf left his brother at Chail and moved on toinhabit and establish a new village named Nasir-Ganj afterhimself. At a later date, he renamed it as Muhammadpur after hisgrand-father, now commonly known as Mahmadpur.Heconstructed a big house, laid orchards and got some water bodies done. Hefathered four sons namely Anwar Ahmad, Haseen AhmadAdvocate, Fazal Ahmad and Laeeq Ahmad. Fromthese four came Ansar and Absar Ahmad bros, Haseen Ahmad had Nafees Ahmad Siddiqui, Nisar Ahmad, Waqar Ahmad, Noor Ahmad Siddiqi and Irfan Ahmad siddiqi while Fazal Ahmad had Habeeb Ahmad & Mahboob Ahmad , Laeeq Ahmad had Sibtain Ahmad and Ibn-i-Ahmad whorepresent the Mahmadpur family.HabibAhmad M.L.A , an icon in the post partition era of Muslim politics in Allahabad ,was fromthe same Mahmadpur family. Ahmad on WhatsApp (+very handy he speaks good English!) in our 4x4 Merc sprinter. We got our oil, oil-filter, brake and front wheel bearings changed and also got some additional 'under protection' fabricated and installed (essentially a piece of 2mm sheet metal bent to stop some of the mud etc....)We had all the spares and oil with us so only had to pay for labour, grease (for bearings) and the metal/materials for protection). We paid 70,000cfa total and it took almost full day (having booked via WhatsApp was handy). Ahmad is very supportive of the 'overland-commuity' (he runs his own fj-cruiser 4x4 club!) and patiently dealt with our whatsapp questions!Ahmad allowed us to use his AC-office and WiFi during the day and we left happy with the work. However; after a few KM on the highway we noticed a vibration and pulled over. It turned out both wheels on the left side had (VERY) loose wheel nuts. We could have easily and quickly lost a wheel on the motorway. We presume as a result; one of these wheels had lost a spigot ring (plastic spacer to allow for difference in centre-bore)We contacted Ahmad who apologised unreservedly and we were invited back to check everything and sort missing spigot the next morning. We returned 48hrs later and as a spigot couldn't be found straight away we agreed to a 10,000cfa refund. At the same time the bolts etc were checked (we were a little nervous other bolts may have been left loose) and Ahmad again answered our questions about potential problems.Whilst we realise 'loose wheel bolts' could have been very serious and we were potentially lucky to not be seriously hurt we don't want to be unfair. The service up to that point was good and if you have a Toyota the range of spares would probably be great! (we're in a Merc sprinter 4x4 van and had to source our own bearings) There is a good range of generic 4x4 stuff (light bars to roof-tents of good quality) but the vehicle specific stuff is definitely focused towards Toyota (particularly the fj cruiser). On balance we would definitely say this was well above the generic-african-by-the-road place and although a (serious) mistake was made would remind you Ahmad apologised and we were reassured this was well out of the ordinary.We would also remind people you could easily experience the same in Europe (we have!) That said we learnt a lesson - always check, after a few hours of what appeared to be diligent work we left them to it, having watched carefully thus far. From now on we watch always.
