Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager SR300
I received the 2nd gen SR300 which is actually a Creative VF0810. The first gen is a VF0800. The 3D part of the cam will not work on Windows 10 Anniversary Update. It freezes after the first frame. Creative has been contacted, and I was advised that the issue lies with the Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager (SR300) which is incompatible with the 2nd gen cam and the AU. The DepthCamera Manager was released on 2/4/2016. Rev 2 came out way after that, as well as the AU. Also, the drivers are from June and July. Intel needs to step up their game and release current drivers and sotware needed to get this working. Creative;s isn't the only one having issues. Razer's Stargazer is as well.So, if you're on the AU and are having issues, there lies your problem. Intel has not released an updated kit since February of 2016. The regular non 3D cam works fine, as does the audio.Here is a link to download the audio software for the 2nd gen. I purchased and received a RealSense R200 3D camera two days ago (Monday 13th of Feb). Prior to that I had been checking out a friend's R200 camera. His camera was recognized by my Lenovo W530 laptop (running Windows 10) without issue. I was able to install the Depth Camera Manager R200 and his camera worked just fine.I now attach my newly acquired R200 camera to the same USB 3.0 port and the Depth Camera Manager does not recognize the camera. When I unplug or plug in my newly acquired R200 camera, a green light momentarily flashes on the camera and the previously installed software momentarily recognizes the camera, but then the recognition quickly disappears.I have since uninstalled the software associated with the R200. However, when attempting to reinstall the R200 software using intel_rs_dcm_r200_2.1.27.2853, I get the following (3 line) message:Intel(R) RealSense Depth Camera Manager R200Prerequisite Issues Summary! The installer failed to detect an Intel(R) RealSense 3D camera on this system. Marty,Please read each question carefully; there is a lot of information in each numbered item. If you would respond to each question individually that would be appreciated.(1) This camera worked on my friend's Surface (running Windows 10). I was able to swap out his camera/cord for my camera/cord several times. His surface recognized our cameras each time the respective cords were plugged into the same UBS 3.0 port. This test was done in the facial recognition app. This appears to indicate that the R200 is working properly.(2) I was able to connect my R200 to my wife's HP Elitebook with no problem. HOWEVER, when in Camera Explorer, any attempt to change the resolution in Color Stream or resolution in Depth Stream caused the picture to stop and an error to persist until the camera was unplugged/replugged back into a USB 3.0 port and the app shutdown and restarted. This appears to indicate that the R200 is NOT working properly.(3) In both my friend's Surface and my wife's Elitebook, under Imaging Devices, the respective Device Managers listed: Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (R200) Depth Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (R200) Left-Right Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (R200) RGBHOWEVER, the Device Manager (under Imaging Devices) in my Lenovo W530 showed: Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (R200) Left-Right Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (R200) RGBWHY, is the Intel(R) RealSense(TM) 3D Camera (R200) Depth not appearing in my Lenovo W530?(4) After installing the SDK on my Lenovo W530 using my friend's R200 (before I bought my own R200), only 6 apps appeared in the SDK sample browser and they were all "beginner" apps. Hi Gringochi,I believe this is the driver page for your PC: Please confirm that it is and then look for the section called Driver-Chipset, under that section you will find the USB 3.0 driver.Right now just try the following:1. Open "Control Panel". In case you don't know how, you can follow the steps in If the Control Panel has its view set by category, you should see an option called Programs, right below it will be an option called Uninstall a program, click on it. If the Control Panel has its view set by either large or small icons, you should see an option called Programs and Features, click on it. 3. Look for a program called Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager F200 and uninstall all versions of it.4. Install the USB 3.0 driver found on the website I shared above.5.
