SAP® Integration ​Teamscale can integrate with SAP® systems in order to use the analyses provided by Teamscale in the area of ABAP® custom code development. The following is relevant for ABAP developers, quality engineers for ABAP, and SAP NetWeaver® system administrators who want to configure Teamscale, or those of them who want to connect to Teamscale from an SAP system. It covers the SAP and ABAP specific configuration steps and usage scenarios, especially those tasks, which are done within an SAP system. This chapter is irrelevant for all who have nothing to do with custom code development for SAP.The required configuration steps on the SAP system are independent of clients on the SAP system (in German »mandantenunabhängig«). A few months ago, I wrote a blog about how to download all SAP transaction codes. We received a chat on our website from a student asking if we had a list of all SAP tcodes…and frankly, we didn’t. That’s why we wrote this blog article and made the SAP transaction codes available for download.Well, fast forward to now, and I just received an email asking me if we had a similar download list for all SAP tables in the SAP system. I was already thinking about writing a blog for this very topic.SAP Database TablesBefore we get into the details, let me quickly give a little background info for a list of important SAP database tables (as opposed to internal tables).SAP database tables (or ‘tables’ for short) are defined in the ABAP Dictionary with their respective technical and semantic attributes.
